MORTIIS: 'Decadent And Desperate' Norwegian Single To Include New Track
February 24, 2006MORTIIS is set for a debut homeland single release when a special version of "Decadent and Desperate" is issued.
Taken from the seminal "The Grudge" album, "Decadent and Desperate" is released in Norway on Earache on March 6.
"Decadent and Desperate" comes in three formats, all including exclusive non-album tracks. Both 7" versions feature artwork including two poster sleeves and the CD contains one post-"Grudge" song "Underdog".
Mortiis is the subject of the March 1 broadcast of "Lydverket" on Norwegian national station NRK 1 at 11:10 p.m. (with a repeat showing on March 5). "Lydverket" has 150,000 viewers weekly for its half-hour broadcast. The subject of this edition is the use of masks in music — Mortiis is filmed on the road in the U.K. and talks candidly about his theatrical stage look alongside appearances from SLIPKNOT, ALICE COOPER and KISS.
